About the role
You’ll build the applications that let customers get the full value from the company’s AI capabilities, and integrate them with existing customer systems and workflows. You’ll work closely with AI developers, engineers and customers, helping shape products from concept through to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI capabilities and applications with customer systems and workflows
• Work with customers to understand their operational requirements
• Collaborate with Python, C++ and AI engineers
• Contribute to software architecture and technical direction
• Build scalable, maintainable software following engineering best practice
• Support demonstrations, trials and customer deployments
• Help maintain a culture of quality, innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience delivering integrations between software applications and building integrated workflows
• Experience developing reliable, production-quality software
• Strong software design and engineering practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
• Eligible, or already have UK security clearance (BPSS at minimum, ideally SC or higher)

Tech environment

• Back end: Python, with REST APIs
• Front end: React and TypeScript
• Data: PostgreSQL and object storage
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD, on cloud and on-prem
• Working alongside Python and C++ AI codebases

Nice to have

• Agile or Scrum experience
• Experience in security-conscious environments
• Experience in rapidly growing technology companies
• MSc or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience
