Emily recruits for AI Data Engineering roles, supporting UK scale-ups as they build out and expand their data and AI teams. She works across the stack that feeds AI products, from Databricks, dbt and Snowflake through to feature engineering and vector search.

She has a background in Philosophy, with a dissertation on the ethics of data use in wearable health technology and coursework in algorithmic bias, AI ethics and the EU AI Act. That background feeds into how she works: she asks detailed questions about a role instead of matching on keywords alone, and she is upfront with both candidates and clients about fit, timelines and what's realistic.
